OUR baby girl turns one in just a few days, so in honor of her I've decided to do a #Giulianaluciaturns1 series.

She has made our lives so much better; and as you can tell, we are head over heels for this little piece of heaven. Words can't describe how much I love Giuliana, she's the most precious gift I have ever received. I'm FOREVER grateful to God for entrusting her to me.

We recently did a photo shoot with our friend Melissa from Simply Captivating. I had been dreaming of doing a shoot in this Carousel for months; so we finally decided to do it for her 12 month shoot.  I just love the vintage feel this carousel gives. I couldn't be more pleased with these pics, I love them! Blessed to call these TWO mine!

I've had such busy weeks lately, that I had almost forgot to talk about my latest obsession - black ripped denim. I scored these little gems at H&M a few weeks ago and I've been wearing them ever since! Finally, I got around to doing a post about them! Fall and Winter is filled with dark denim. Especially black (staple color); but not just black regular jeans but, black RIPPED jeans. People have asked me if I did these myself, and I laugh because it does look like a DIY. But no, ladies and gents, they came like this and I love every hole in them! hahaha!

Another little gem I scored is this pearl necklace (SO CLASSY AND PERFECT) from one of my favorite online jewelry boutiques - Benevolent Jewels. Absolutely love their site and how you shop AND support a cause: To help Patriot Paws (veteran dogs). So every purchase you make helps the life of a furry veteran dog, which is simply amazing.

I used to wear over the knee socks back in grade school and I honestly never thought I would be wearing them again! One thing is for sure, I love them! OH, and socks with booties?! I love even more. I made a decision to wear more hats this fall, I kind of want to be know as the hat lady! So don't be surprised when you see me wearing hats all day-err-day.

 Dont be scared to try new things, and to experiment with trends that suit your body and style. Enjoy playing dress up even for a fun afternoon!

In my life I've learned to appreciate each season and moment I have been given. One of my favorite bible verses is Ecclesiastes 3:1. The chapter talks about how there is a season and purpose for everything. We live in such a fast paced world, where I constantly find myself saying "time flies." For this reason I decided to document my moments "worth writing about" on this page in an attempt slow time down, even a little. 

Giuliana (my daughter) turns one in just a few weeks. She is such a delightful baby, full of energy and sass! As she's develops I want to document and sort of 'journal' through each phase. I LOVE to inspire others to live out their full life and TRULY ENJOY each season at hand. Don't let life just "pass by", take pictures, enjoy the moments.
